We would like to
extend a warm WELCOME to the Official Village website of Republic
Ohio. It is our desire that this web site will provide a helpful guide
to our Village government, services and local attractions.
Republic is a small
farming community located in northwestern Ohio. The residents of this
peaceful community enjoy all the pleasures and amenities a small town
has to offer,
complete with a rich
history.
The heart of our
community is the historic
downtown business district and active organizations. The shops and
restaurants keep the local flavor alive. Tourists from across the
country and local residents enjoy our locally owned and operated
establishments for dining, shopping and social gatherings.
Our active
organizations include the Republic Historical Society, Lion's Club,
Knights of Columbus,
American Legion and Auxiliary, Boy & Girl Scouts, 4-H Clubs, Republic
Community Festival and Masonic Lodge.
We are strong in our
traditions and proud of our heritage.
There is only so much that
words can say about Republic, so please stop through sometime and enjoy
